I had the privilege of sharing many Friday and Saturday nights with the Hoaglands while I was employed by Home Services in Colorado Springs. I was honored to spend the 8pm-8am shift with them for 2 and 1/2 years. I was saddened to hear that Miss Betty has passed but I am also overjoyed at the thought that her and her precious Ira have been reunited and are now dancing in the streets of Heaven! Betty enriched my life in an unforgettable way...I will never again eat another Dove Chocolate without reading the wrapper, I will never again look at a crossword puzzle in the same way, I will never again be able to look at the antics of a squirrel or a bossy, intruding mouse in the same manner.... Oh.... and that delicious Chai Tea will never taste the same!! Betty, you will always remain in my heart!
Dear Debbie and Peggy - Your parents had such a will to live even with the significant health problems they had. I am aware that your Dad died last year (?). They were each others rock! I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. Jan Anderson, N.P.
