Nurnbergs ... this is a long shot, but i don't know how else to contact you. Do you "kids" remember playing in the graveyards in Media, Pa with Pete and Pam Olson? If that is you, please contact me if you would like to have a copy of our old home movies, which included a bit of your dad teaching my brother some martial arts skills ... or at least trying to do so. It's only a few minutes worth, but they might be precious to you .... Pam Olson

Dear Nurnberg family:

You do not know me but my father, Billy Marvin McMahan, who served in the US Air Force, died back in 1965 while running a rocket/target practice over the ocean off the coast of Panama. It was your father who wrote to my grandparents about his tragic death. I still have the letter. At the time of my father's death he was only 35 (I was only 4 years old). He left behind a young widow with 3 children (myself and my 2 siblings). Considering the fact that I was so young, I don't remember my father all that well. My mother did go on to remarry 4 years later and we moved from TX to IL.

While I was researching some family history back in 2011, I came across the letter from your father. I wrote to your father (found that he was in CO at the time) but never heard back from him to see if he personally remembered my father.

I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry for your loss. Your father sounded like an incredible human being and I wish I had had a chance to find out if he remembered my father.

Regards,
Janet Stubing
