My deepest sympathies to the family. I worked with, as well as, for your father until his retirement from the Postal Service. Let me share some memories with you. While at work he took me in under his wing upon learning my father also attended St. Mary's High School. He taught me a lot about my job. We would talk about sports, the weather, hobbies and so on. He especially enjoyed talking about life, the importance of family and the love of family.

Have comfort knowing your father is with Him.

Mr DeMasters has left a permanent mark on the heart of St Mary's Cathedral and the hundreds of families that were so honored to be loved by him.
Coming "home and receiving the warmth of his marvelously generous hugs was always a gift, and will be sorely missed.

Mr DeMasters devotion to faith, family and his community leaves an inspiring legacy.
May we honor this great effort by living in his example!

May all of Bob's family be surrounded by the grace and healing embrace provided by our loving Father in Heaven,
as you remember this wonderful man.

In Peace,

Jennifer (Gooley) Villalon and family

I have known your dad my whole life. He was always smiling and giving me hugs. I would smile looking down at him from the choir loft sitting with my mom while the rest of my family was singing. He will be missed but will forever be in my heart. God Bless you as you go through this difficult time.

I knew Bob while working and caring for him at Sunrise Senior Living. Every moment with Bob was very special. His quiet humor, pleasant smile and energetic faith, truly made Bob an amazing man to know. There were days when Bob and I would sit and share our faith (as we are both Catholic), watch Regis and Kelly for a bit and even on some Fridays I would come with my dog, whom Bob grew attached to. Bob will be missed so much, by so many, but the memories we all have made with Bob will live on forever in our hearts.

My prayers are with the DeMasters family. May you find comfort in the good times had and at peace, knowing Bob is now in God's kingdom...he is truly at home.

I met Bob again when I worked at Sunrise ... I also knew him when I was younger and St. Mary's was our family's parish. And, not surprisingly, his character traits of integrity, honesty and humor never waned. Bob is one of my favorite people I have known in this life .. rest in peace Bob - see you one day in our Father's Kingdom.

Bob was one of the first people I met when I moved to Colorado Springs. And what a welcome! Such a "gentle giant." Always there with sage advice, a lending hand, a prayer filled spirit, a warm smile and wisdom beyond description. Truly a man of faith. I feel truly blessed to have known him and his family. Blessings to you all.
