So saddened to learn of the passing of Bill Roub, our dear friend. We had the good fortune of moving in next door to him on Rainbow Pl. What a blessing Bill was to our family. At the time I was pregnant with our 2nd son and Bill looked after myself and firstborn son Luciano while my husband set out early every day to work. Bill would ensure our drive and sidewalks were free of snow, would phone to see if there was anything needed while he headed out to the store. We enjoyed the occasional happy hour on his back porch and our dinners shared whether at home or out. We left Colorado Springs in 1998 due to my husbands job, but Bill remained dear to our family and My husband and I were able to visit him during our getaways to Colorado Springs. We always looked forward to Bill's annual Christmas card and letter, detailing his travels. Bill was one of a kind and will be greatly missed, R.I.P. our dear Friend, until we meet again. Heaven has gained another angel! With much love,
Frank and Kimberly DeDonatis and sons, Luciano, Frank II, and Joseph

One of the finest gentleman I ever knew, as my supervisor during the seventies at the Broadmoor he set a high standard for himself and all with whom he worked. There will never be another like him.

We were honored to have worked with and learn with Bill. We left in the late 70's and opened our own restaurant in Portland Or, which Bill visited.
We saw him almost yearly and will miss him dearly.

RIP Bill. You bought me lunch several times when I was poor and in college. My Mom, Lorraine Lau, worked with you for many years and she will miss your regular emails. God bless.

Uncle Bill will be very missed! We loved visiting him in our child hood years...and later as adults. He would visit his class reunions often and we could catch up a bit. The last time I got to chat with him was at The Imperial Gardens of Madison, WI. He regaled us with tales of people he and served at the Broadmoor. I will miss listening to him share these memories! RIP Uncle Bill. We love you. Praying with Hope that you are resting in the arms of Jesus!!
