We were so sorry to learn of Bill's death. He was a faithful Christian. I enjoyed singing in the choir with him at Holy Trinity and he was our favorite barber. We shall miss his smile and laughter.

Bill cut my hair, made me laugh, and taught me his famous whistle style but mostly how to be happy in my work and to try to get others to enjoy their day also. He was a great example to all. In memory your smile makes me smile . Thanks Bill.

Dear Mrs. Cater, Randy and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We are not able to be there on Saturday with you, but our hearts are filled with admiration for what a kind and caring man that Mr. Cater was. I have such fond memories of sitting on his lap at Holy Trinity when i was a little girl and I have been Blessed to have reconnected with you both at St. Peters. My Mother is also keeping you in her prayers. Randy will miss the loving taps on his shoulder from Mr. Cater on his way to communion. He was a special man with such a loving spirit.

Bill was absolutely of the nicest men I have had the pleasure of knowing. Serving with him on the Nashawannuck Pond Steering Committee was a great pleasure. I will forever remember your wit, humor, and kindness. My condolences to his loved ones and many friends. A great gift to those who knew him.

So sorry to hear Bill has passed. He was a wonderful man and my parents as well as my brother and myself had the utmost respect for his character. He will be missed by many. The Krawczyk and Capen families.

This was one fine man. Always a gentleman, with a great sense of humor, and a smile for everyone. And he had the best, most infectious laugh. You will be missed, Bill.
