Steve and family,

You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. It was a pleasure to meet your Dad and see how proud he was Steve, at your installation as MVSOA President, the June before last.

Steve,
I am very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I just lost my mother a month ago and it is very difficult to lose a loved one especially a parent.

My sympathies to the Connor family. I knew Jim to be a true gentleman. He will be miss by many.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was such a great advocate for veterans. People like Jim and my parents knew the true measure of their sacrifices. My sincere condolences.

Dear Doreen, Kathy and Steve:

Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a dear friend, as was your mother Terry. I'll miss Jim at our annual get-together this Christmas but am forever thankful for the good times we all had. None of us will ever forget Hampton Beach and Jim's favorite hang-out, the "L" Street Cafe, picnics at the D.A.R. in Goshen, the 3 County Fair, the B & B in Hatfield and the Florence VFW. I sincerely hope that your generation has as much fun as we had together. Your mom and dad helped with all of my campaigns for office and I shall be forever grateful. Best of luck to you and your families as we all move on with our lives. Your mom and dad were both very proud of you and their grandchildren. I'll never forget the joy they brought into my life. My condolences for your loss.
