Keith was a good man and a kind friend. When my son and I were lost on the road less traveled, Keith and Bonnie, Greg and Kimberley opened their home to shelter us in a time of need. Together we created our own place of love and support.
Keith provided a great role model as a father image to my son and his friendship soon turned into a brotherly love.
His former wife Bonnie became my sister in love and his children and I adopted each other as mother and children. The Longey and Pierce Family integrated me as part of their family. For that I will be eternally grateful.
There will always be fond memories of Williamsburg, Goshen, Haydenville and camping at the DAR. Sitting around the kitchen table sipping on cognac and debating world politics. The Halloween Party's when Keith came home dressed as a hunter because that was where you were all day, out hunting.
From Maine to Washington DC we camped and traveled to be together. Oh so many good memories !
I will have moments and think of loosing you in this lifetime with sadness but will keep your spirit alive and with me by retrieving memories of the good times we spent together as family.
Keith you are gone but will never be forgotten. Until our spirits unite once again...............
Love and Blessings to the Longey Family..

I never had the pleasure of meeting up personally w/Keith. We were both regulars on Dan Illman's Formblog{DRF}. Hardly a day went by w/o a comment from Keith. He was a Firecracker. A hellava nice guy. I was shocked to hear of his passing. He will always be remembered for his apt & witty responses. He always gave me his attention. He will be sadly missed, but not forgotten. Your buddy, the Slewster..

KeithL made numerous friends and entertained many others, here on the DRF/Dan Illman formblog. All of these, including myself, will miss him deeply, and thus share your grief by sending our condolences to all of you, his family. He had become a part of our lives too. Do comfort one another.
