I knew Skip when he was an assistant at XU. After Pete Gillen left, Skip continued with great recruiting and kept the team at a very high level.

He was a good man who was often more concerned with his players developing as men than developing as basketball players. He'll be missed.

What a great man he was. I will always remember his caring and competitive nature. He was one of the greats in college basketball it is sad to see such a sudden and tragic passing. May god bless his family and his friends.

I was shocked beyond words when I found out about the death of Skip Prosser. My heart is saddened by the loss, for as a Wake Forest fan and a fan of college basketball, Skip Prosser was a truly wonderful man and ambassador for the school, as he continued what Dave Odom did during his time in Winston-Salem. My condolences and my prayers for the family of Skip Prosser.

We will miss Skip Prosser. My prayers go out to the Prosser family and to the Wake Forest Community.
