Stan Musial was my idol growing up on and off of the field. When you think of Cardinal baseball, he and Jack Buck are the two that come to mind. I remember going to the old Stan and Biggies and after a game he would come to the restaurant in a suit and always was gracious to me as a kid he gave me an autograph picture. This is one of my cherished memory of him. There will never be another one like him. St. Louis was and is so lucky to have him as one of ours. Stan I know that God will welcome you in heaven. Thanks for being part of my life and I will say prayers for your family.

I was born and raised in E.St.Louis. Remember my first game around five years old, Cards vs Browns. I was at the game when he retired; and have a ball Stan autographed for me at one of the "Ball-B-Que's". God bless his family.

My Dad passed away almost a month ago. He was an avid baseball fan whose favorite player of all time was Stan the Man. Stan will have an entourage of folks waiting to greet him and I know my Daddy will be first in line.
