Bill gave me my start in law, hiring me and mentoring me, and I'll be forever grateful to him. The most fun I've had in my legal career was trying cases with Bill. He truly was a master before a jury. RIP.

My deepest condolences to the Ginsburg family. So sad to hear of this loss from a former co-worker. I still can see the picture of Bill in his kilt in London. You will be missed Bill.

Bill and I go back to Berkeley days and there are memories galore, updated over the years - most recently when he was in DC for Monica case. We had dinner when suddenly he put his hand over mine and said, "Justy, you look just like your father." It was an amazing and powerful moment I'll never forget. Goodbye Bill

I knew Bill since 1977 when he hired me as his law clerk, then his associate, then his partner. There was a lot to say about Bill, but through it all, perhaps the most important point is that he was actually a nice man. And that is what I said about him 30 years ago. He lived, in his own mind, an entire second life (he was afraid he would die young, as his father had) and I remember the joy he experienced with his wife, his children and his life.
