Henry M. Gonzales passed away on May 28, 2017 at U.C. Davis Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Henry was born on July 10, 1935 in College City, CA and remained a lifelong resident of Colusa County ever since.
Henry was the local barber in Arbuckle for over 64 years; and he loved every minute of it. He greatly enjoyed the thrill of flea market finds and was an avid collector of many things; however, antique cars were his favorite item of choice. Henry got to enjoy the perks of being a grandfather and great-grandfather and took great pride in his family. He will be deeply missed.
Henry is survived by his loving wife Dallas Gonzales, daughter Doris Kessler, grandson Raymond Kessler (Amy Willis) and their son Henry Kessler; brothers Donnie Gonzales, Louie Gonzales and Ralfe Gonzales; sisters Lupe Lofts, Connie Sousa, Eileen Lee and Evelyn Gonzales as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the McNary-Moore Chapel, 107 5th Street, Colusa on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5pm-8pm and graveside services will take place Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2pm at the Arbuckle Cemetery.

Years and years of barber services for our family. Not just barber services but great conversations over a span of 40 years! Henry will be greatly missed and it will be sad to pass by his shop and know he is no longer there.

Henry was a devoted and very good best friend to my brother Simon and they enjoyed each other's company greatly. Henry always treated me and the other "squirts" very well and I really liked him very much. I hope he and Sy have reunited and resumed gossiping!
