To the family of Mr. Motley
Sorry to hear of your lost Mr. motley was a great person and teacher . I also had him for history at Dan River High School to. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Judy, Joe, Tommy, Tim, Sarah and Susan:
Fuller Motely was the most interesting person that I have ever met. He was one of a kind. He was a walking history book about OUR RAMSEY FAMILY and Pittsylvania County genealogy. He was the most loving person I have ever known other then Christ himself. Fuller, you made this a better WORLD for us all to live in. I will never forget the Ramsey Reunions in CHATHAM as well as the places you took me where my families grew up: BLAIRS and RAMSEYS. You will live for ever in our hearts. Thanks for sharing your LOVE with all the people you have TOUCH in this WORLD.
YOU LEFT BIG SHOES THAT WILL BE HARD TO FILL! I know you will continue your love to all in Heaven! You have taught the family you left behind HOW to continue in life. YOU WILL BE MISSED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS YOU LEFT BEHIND.
FULLER, you were an example of what I feel CHRIST would have been like on Earth. We are better people in the LOVE of CHRIST because of you. GOD BLESS EVERYONE YOU HAVE LEFT BEHIND TO CARRY ON WHAT YOU DID NOT FINISH ON EARTH. Our sympathy to the family --- Fuller Motley had a positive infuence on many folks in the Callands Community---a history teacher at the old Callands High School, a well respected farmer, a friend to all who met him. He lived a good life and will be missed by many.
God be with you all. I'll always remember our talks and reminiscing about "the Ramseys" and many other topics he was so good at discussing with me! My love and best prayers are for you all at this time. mARY fRITH

Judy, Tommy, Joe, Tim and families: I am so sorry to learn of Fuller's passing. May your faith in God and your wonderful memories comfort you all.
What a wonderful man Mr Motley was. I knew him as a history teacher, but most important i knew him as a Christian man.
I know he will be missed him here but what a comfort it is to know he is at home with the Lord. II Cor 5:8 - "...to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. May you be comforted in your loss--as we rejoice for Mr. Motley in his gain.
