Kathy, my thoughts are with you at this time. I knew you both when I worked at Bank of America in Rancho Mirage. Stay strong. You had 10+ years of love and laughter.

What a blessing Ken Venturi has been to us all. He seemed to have a life well lived and has left many with many with wonderful life lessons through golf. A true gentleman, a wonderful story teller, and a kind man who would greet one and all with those sparkling blue eyes and warm smile. Fascinating to listen to! To his family and friends, thanks for sharing.

RIP Mr. Venturi. Voice of CBS golf, US Open Champ, best amateur finish ever at the Masters. It was great meeting you at the Circle Star Theater prior to Frank Sinatra concert--thank you for your kindness. Condolences to your family as you will always be remembered. I will always remember the day at Marco Island with you and Beau. Your loving, happy eyes were so welcoming to a new wife on the block( meaning a wife on the PGA Tour). You have me thinking about days watching you with my parents on CBS. God bless you, Ken, for all you gave in classic coverage. Bless your family, too.

He was the voice of golf that you enjoyed as much as watching the golf. His knowledge, insight and calm cool demeanor we have not seen since he retired from anyone in any booth.Nor will we. You will be greatly missed.
