My heart goes out to the Tamminga family as I think of the loss of your dear and gentle Ben. Though it has been many years since I last saw Ben (and most of the rest of you), I remember his kind heart, gentleness and amazing artistic talent. I know you will find strength in each other as you grieve his loss and I pray God's grace will hold you in the months and years to come. The world has indeed lost a special spirit.
With love,
Sue Peters,

Your flame will never go out

I was very blessed to have met Ben at a dark time in my life he picked me up and gave me a chance he taught me skills that could not be learned from a book it's through that time six seven years beside him friendship grew into a brother that's all so unreal the closeness of the family even warmly welcomed us. We truly do feel the loss and I'm so sorry the world's a bit colder you will always be in our hearts. To The tamminga we send our love and condolences. To the hundreds of friends you are blessed to have known such a man as were we.
