I, too enjoyed working with Clare at Glades Central. He was always trying to improve the Adult Ed. Program and he did in so many ways. I bid him peace.

I was extremely saddened to hear of Clarence's passing. We shared many great times in college and in Grand Rapids.

Sean and family - We will keep you in our preyers and thoughts during this difficult time. Your dad was a neat guy and I am glad we got to meet him!

Many fond memories of when we worked and spent time together back in Grand Rapids. I remember going to Las Vegas and San Francisco together attending conferences. Very special times!! It was work but 'fun' when helping out with your political career with you and your father. Also, vacationing to Florida and visiting your relatives in 1973. We will miss you and our thoughts go out to your family.

Clare was a great person. He was a friend and will be greatly missed. Many times I drove out to his program at night and he always sent home fresh corn and vegetables from the Glades. He gave his heart to his staff and students. He helped so many. We had great times driving to conferences together and hanging out. I am so sorry for his family's loss, a community's loss and for a loss of a friend who will always be kindly remembered as a loving person. Hugs to friends and family.
