It was hard to let her go, but even harder to keep her here. Once she made her mind up to do something that was exactly what she would do. That is one attribute that I most admired about her. Rest in peace my dear mother? Heck no, she will be whistling a happy tune as she throws out her fishing line! You will be in our hearts until our last breathes, Love to you and dad.....
Aunt Irene and Uncle Gus were always favorites! Our families had many good times together. Prayers and Love to Kathy and Jim, Merry and Andy, and Karen and Dan and Morgan. Love cousin Sue and John
When I first met Irene, she was still working while caring for her husband Gus, who was very ill with cancer. After Gus died, Irene was the caretaker for Harold. Today, I met with her husband John. He told me how Irene saved his life and made a home for him, Irene never asked for anything in return. Always the caretaker, always the nurse, and always unconditionally. Always our Lydia Irene. We were truly blessed. She will live in our hearts forever.
Kathy & Jim and family,
