I met Dr. Jeruzal about 20 years ago, when I was scared to go to the dentist, so I went to CRD. Oh the fond memories of getting my polaroid picture taken every year! And the ever changing color of the front door. He was always so caring in my dental needs. I dont know how the team at CRD will go on without him! It will be hard but as long as we as patients and the caring girls stick together; I know they can make it!! Thinking of you girls and his family.
As happens in these sad instances, there are many of Dick's friends and former classmates that are just now hearing of his passing. We have great memories of fun times in Manistee and remember him as a truly nice person. Rest in peace.
We appreciated his loving and excellent dental care over
many years, he always called after any major work to ask if
we were ok. It was such a sad time to hear of his passing, we
are sure he was the best dentist we could have had. Shelby

I just read about Dr Jeruzal's passing. I am shocked and deeply saddened! As a patient since the mid 80's, I send my heartfelt condolences to his family and his amazing team at C.R.D! I won't forget his smile, or that while doing my (at times extensive!) dental work, he periodically would stop, place a hand on my shoulder and ask me "Are you o.k?" He was professional, personable and always very compassionate. He will be greatly missed in our community.
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss and you have my deepest sympathy. Our prayers are with you and your family.
I just learned of Dick's passing and am so sad for you, Rosemary, and your family. My heart is with you as you work through your grief. Amazing that I met him more than 40 years ago when we both arrived in Grand Rapids. I'll give you a call in a few days. Wendy
I was deeply saddened by Dr. Jeruzal's passing away. Of the 12 years that I have been a patient, I have had such respect for Dr. Jeruzal as a professional and compassionate person, as well as always being so personable. I will miss seeing him when I come to the office. I send my condolences to his wife and to his team at the dental office. As deeply as it has affected me is only a portion of how it has affected all of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Condolences,Rosemary, girls & Dr B...From the bottom of our heavy hearts! Thank you for the many years of dentistry & family friendship.Sorry we couldn't be there in person. See you when we get back from vacation. Hugs to you from. Michelle, Joyce & Mike
My family and I are shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Jeruzals passing. We loved seeing his big bright smile when we were in the office along with all of the great girls that work at CRD. I will never forget and still have the special letter from Dr.J that he sent to our now 5 year old after he asked her to stop sucking her fingers and she did :) He told her how proud he was of her. Warms my heart :)
Prayers to his family, friends and the CRD family.

Dickie, I have always been proud to be your sister, but after reading all of the tributes, my chest has swollen immeasurably! I do wish we had spent more time together here on earth, but that was not to be. My greatest disappointment is WE NEVER GOT TO MAKE FINKA!! I was so pleased to hear on Friday that your first meal when you arrived HOME would be Finka! I know Momma had everything ready for you. Please give my love to both Mom and Dad, and assure them they are in my thoughts everyday. Until I meet you all again I carry you in my heart. I love you big brother. Miss

I am so sorry to hear that Dr. J has passed away. We were so blessed to find him over 15 years ago when we moved to the Cedar Rock area. To have a dentist that would personally call you in the evening after a procedure you had that day to make sure you were doing o.k. truly makes you feel special. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family and with his Cedar Rock Dental family. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by many.
Rossemary: I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your husband, Richard. My prayers are with you, your family and the employes of Cedar Rock Dental. God Bless. Mike Shibler.

Dr. J -
For nineteen years of my life I have had the great pleasure to work “with” you and not just “for” you. I don't know that I have said thank you often enough for all of the incredible mentoring you have given to me personally. So, Thank You! I would not be the hygienist or person that I am today if not for knowing you and being a part of your life and practice. Thank you for sharing all of your insight and knowledge with me. I will take your wonderful guidance and teachings with me and continue to take the CedarRock Dental purpose and forward. We have the most wonderful patients and I will continue to serve them for you. Your legacy will live on in me. You will be greatly missed each day. Thank you for all of the support and confidence. Cheryl

I joined the team at CedarRock Dental over 9 years ago. I had met Dr. Jeruzal and knew his professional reputation but it wasn't until I worked along side him that I realized how dedicated he was to greater learning and how devoted he was to his staff and his patients. These last 9 years have been the best of my 42 years of working in dentistry. Dick, my friend, mentor and boss, you will be deeply missed.
Hi Rosemary, I just heard about your husband passing away. I want you to know how sorry we are. May God give you the peace and comfort that you will need in the coming days, weeks, and months. Love Jim and Marcia Fisher
We are so shocked and saddened about Dick. He was a wonderful dentist; a great employer; and most importantly a good person and friend. I owe him so much. I never would have become a nurse without his support and encouragement.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Cheryl & Paul

We will miss you so much boss!!!
I have grown up working alongside you, thank you for teaching me how to be a true dental professional.
CedarRock Dental Care will continue on in your memory always.
Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him.
I will miss you, uncle
Dear Jeruzal Family,
As a former patient of Dr. Jeruzal, I pen this with a heavy heart. Dr. Jeruzal was a kind and thoughtful soul and I almost hoped he would find something wrong in my mouth that would keep me coming back. The words of 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith," truely exemplifies Dr. Jerzual's character. I pray blessings over you all at this tender time.
I never put two and two together to realize he was your husband. I just met him in October when I chose him for our dentist. We talked about our spouses...he said such nice things about you. We randomly selected him, as we now live close to his office. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, Rosemary...you too, Bobby. I'm sure he was a great brother-in-law. I am so sorry for your loss.
Arlene Dawson Hillary
Dear Rosemary and Family,
I am terribly saddened by the death of Dick and feel such a sense of loss. At the same time, I feel blessed to have known such a wonderful and inspiring friend for so many years, sharing so many precious memories and life milestones along the way.
I will miss this dear man, and so I take this time now to send love and prayers for comfort to Rosemary, all of Dick's family, many friends, patients, business associates.
Bevan Tillstrom Laird and Family
I'm sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was one of the classiest people we met at Alma.He always had that great smile.RIP my friend.
It is hard to know what to say about someone you sat knee to knee with for over 20 years...The community has lost one of its best dentists! He was always thinking about his patients and their needs before his own. Always striving to be better in his field than the day before. He taught me so much about dentistry and about how to be a strong person. I will never forget my boss, my friend. He was like a father to me. I shared many things with him about my life that I shared with no one else. I knew he would listen, give advice and then share with no one. I can't believe he is gone...life will never be the same. I love you Dick, you filled my every day and I will miss that "Good Morning" we shared each day. Hugs and kisses to all his family and especially Rosemary who is also very special to me! I Love You! Barbie.
Rosemary - such a shock!! Thoughts and prayers are with you.
