What nice memories I have of you and Skip as my neighbors and friends. He was a good guy!
He shared your wonderful family with "four generations" of my family. I remember the war stories, the "Yellow" stories from the picnic table, and over the grape fence line. One day he walked over to our deck, sat down, talked about family, then said he had to go, got up and walked back home. He was a slow-directed talker with a point to get across or chose to end with a smile.
One New Year's party, he took his turn dancing with a wig on. That was so funny.
My family does and will remember Skip for his kind ways...forever.
Joan, you complimented his life, and I know you will miss him. I love you. My heart feels a special sadness for you,and the boys families.
My sincere love to the extended family for the loss of Skip. I know he made unique memories with each of you. God bless you.
