Our hearts go out to the family. Clay no longer soars with the eagles, his place is higher now. Amd I'm sure he's directing an awesome chorus now. I wish I could be with you all to remember his time and share some stories.

I met Clay in the early 70's after I joined the Kalamazoo Chapter. He and the other Vagabonds were very nice to a young kid who loved Barbershop. They would also come by our house for an "After-Afterglow" and sing with other quarterts. My folks, John and Betty cherished the friendships. Now the Angels have a heck of a Bari. God Bless your family.
