Sallie and Family - I just read about Fred's passing in the HMI retirement newsletter. In reading all the HMI fellow and former co-workers who signed the guest book - was like a trip back in time! Fred was a very special person and he will be truly missed

What a wonderful man Fred was! He was insturmental in getting me on board at HM which was the best job I had in the industry. Everyone will miss his contagious smile, fantastic personality and most importantly his interest in seeing those under him succeed in business. RIP, my friend.

Fred was one of those rare persons who make us feel good simply by their presence. In Max's terms, he was a gift to the spirit.

Dear Sallie

It saddens Patti and I deeply at the news of Fred's passing. He brought everyone who had the good fortune to know and work with him a gift of what the good in humanity looks like. Conscientious, kind, always there to support, or to offer advice, embodied with a coy sense of humor, rapier wit, and an infectious laugh that could lighten any situation, or heighten the best of times. We are blessed to have known him, and our memories will continue to bring smiles to our faces of a man that was simply “one of a kind.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

Tim and Patti Ferrell
