Was just talking about Ted today and asked if he was still alive. Well now I know. Ted was a great friend of the family. He helped my father and my grand parents worked for Ted. R.I.P. Big guy!

Dear All,

How will I ever forget 'uncle' Ted. He was the hero of our lives, when my brother Ruud and I were young. My parents, Loup and Ria Grevers, who used to live in Wassenaar (The Netherlands), took us once on an unforgettable trip to the States. I was only 8 years old, but remember it so well. Ted made us more than welcome in his beautiful home in Marwood, Michigan and nothing was too much for him. He was always relaxed, even when my brother broke his beloved coo coo clock from Holland! And I caused a flooding in the bathroom; all within minutes of arrival.
Ted was always so generous and bought us things which did not exist in our small country.
May his soul now rest in peace! The Lord was truly visible in his life!

I remember Ted when he came to Holland in the 60's and 70's to visit my uncle Loub Grevers with who he had close ties for the Office of the Fatman in Wassenaar. He would play the "Boogie Woogie" on the piano and the whole house would move. I also remember going with him delivering food baskets to the needy people around town during Christmas in the late 70's.
