Mary - My deepest sympathy to you and your family regarding the loss of Coach. He touched me in so many ways as a teacher at Riverside Jr High and as a coach during my three years playing football at Creston. He will be missed greatly by all.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Bill for many years covering education legislation in Lansing. He was a GREAT guy and one that respected the people with whom he worked. He was a champion for children and will long be remembered as such. Thank you for sharing him with so many. I was out of the state or would have shared my feelings personally with the family.
I'm so sorry I didn't get to the funeral because of snow predictions (which didn't happen). Mr. Shetter was an infectiously great spirit! Our family will truly miss his wonderful humor! He leaves many happy memories behind.

Bill was a person of great humor, kindness, and integrity. You could always count on his word. It was a pleasure and privilege to know and work with him on issues. My prayers and condolences are with all who loved him, and there are many, but especially his dear wife and family. God love you Bill!
I worked with Bill many years ago at Mid City for GRPS. I will always remember him as a kind & decent man. I really liked working with him. RIP, Bill.
