We are sorry to hear of Harry's passing. We wondered why we couldn't get in touch with him. We were neighbors with him and Fenna for thirty years and will miss them greatly. Our prayers are with the whole family.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I'll miss having breakfast Friday mornings with Harry. We had a great time working together in years past. He had a great sense of humor and was an excellent craftsman. I learned a lot from him over the years. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Although I only knew Harry for a short time @ Tendercare, I appreciated his kind personality and sense of humor. Sending prayers to his family.

My fondest memory of both Harry and Fenna is from when I was a young girl - about 5, I would guess. They were at a cottage, I think, along Lake Michigan and my grandparents (John & Gert DeHaan) took me to visit. We went for a walk along the dunes and all I remember is how hot the sand was! The four of them took turns carrying me on their shoulders until we were no longer walking in sand! Strange how we remember things like that!

I will also remember the wonderful raspberry pie that great Uncle Harry made for the DeHaan reunion last fall - the same as Aunt Fenna used to make! And, the item that always pulled the most cash from Uncle Sid's wallet during the auction!

I'm happy for Uncle Harry. It was clear last year that he missed Aunt Fenna terribly. They were such kind people. And now they will be together for eternity with our Lord! How wonderful!

My heart is saddened for the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know your loss is great! I pray that time will lessen your sadness, and each day will bring healing closer, along with all of the fond memories you have! God Bless all of you!
