Barb and Family: I began working for Jim as a Secretary while I was still in High School. He was always very kind to me and had great advise to give. So sorry to see of his passing.

Jim and I practiced law together for many years. He was a good man and a fine lawyer.

I am in Florida, otherwise I would not have missed the funeral.

My best to the Flaggert family.

Dear Barb and family,

Lynda and I are very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful friend to our family. Jim was a great example of what a husband, father, and friend should be. Jim was kind, generous and fun to be with and we will miss our times together. Jim loved to fish and pick blueberries and we enjoyed the berries he shared with us.

Our love and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Barb,
I offer condolences and comfort in your loss of Jim, always a stalwart presence with great wit in Ada days. This comforted me after Jim's death 10 years ago; may it also give you peace & connection.

There is nothing that can replace the absence of someone dear to us...
to the extent the emptiness truly remains unfulfilled, one remains connected to the other person through it.

God in no way fills the emptiness, but much more leaves it precisely unfilled...The more beautiful and full the remembrances, the more difficult the separation. One bears what was lovely in the past not as a thorn but as a precious gift deep within, a hidden treasure. ~Dietrich Bonhoeffer
