James Edward Steele, age 70, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 with his family at his side. He was a supervisor for Irwin Seating and Country Roads before retiring. He preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Steele; brothers, Chuck and Sonny Steele; sister, Lou Ella Bunker; his grandson, Dustin Krzykwa. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sue; children, Sherry and Chris Riordan, Rick Steele, Steven and Susan Lovell, Dennis and Jana Lovell, Lisa and Matt Krzykwa; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Bob and Linda Steele, Walt and Robbie Steele; mother-in-law, Betty Driscoll; sister-in-law, Lois and Emmett Corner; brothers-in-law, Fred and Bonnie Pieri, Tom and Sue Driscoll; several nieces and nephews. As James had wished cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Inurnment in Fairplains Cemetery, Sparta. Friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Saturday 1 hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the VanAndel Institute toward research.
