I remember Dr. Wiese as the extraordinarily kind physician who visited us when were sick as children. His black bag, filled with shiny medical utensils, glass bottles of medicines, and bandages of all shapes and sizes was a real fascination to my young eyes. But what I remember best was his warm, calming demeanor - and his ability as a pediatrician has to be mentioned to. After all, with his help I always got better! I'm simply grateful for his helpful connection to me and my family all those years ago. It was my Mom who so preciently chose this wonderful man to be her children's medical caregiver, and it was my Mom, then Janet Post, who quietly passed away on Thursday too.
