It was such a joy to spend the last year getting to know Julie. She most certainly put a smile on my face every week during our visits. Though Julie's memory was short it always amazed me that she knew that I was that nurse who would come and see her every week to share a smile, a laugh and a weekly fashion compliment. I truly felt honored to be one of the lucky ones to not only care for her but also to smile and laugh with her. Julie, Meadowlark misses your beautiful laugh.

I first met Julie when she joined our downhill ski club at Cannonsburg back in the late 1980s. Since we were both Westsiders we often shared rides and became good friends over the years. Once a week our group went up north to ski and Julie soon became known as "the cookie lady" because she always brought an array of her homemade treats for our dessert and snack time. Everyone loved her. I especially appreciated her happy, positive attitude about life and the way she exibited love and care for everyone. Once a year we always went on an overnight trip to Petoskey to attend the 70+ Ski Event at Nubs Nob and always had so much fun. Julie was indeed a special friend and a delight to know! To the family I extend my sympathy and pray that you will be surrounded by God's comfort and peace that only He can give. I'm sorry I can't attend the funeral tomorrow because I have a prior commitment.

I first met Julie when she joined our senior downhill ski club at Cannonsburg in the late 1980s. Since we were both Westsiders, we often gave each other rides and a friendship began which lasted many years. The group would go up north once a week and Julie became known as the "cookie lady" because she always brought a wonderful array of cookies for our snack time. Once a year we went on overnight trips to Petoskey for the 70+ ski event at Nubs Nob. It was a pleasure to spend time with Julie and enjoy her positive outlook on life. She was such a happy and caring person; we all enjoyed her. I'm so sorry I cannot attend her funeral tomorrow because of a prior commitment. I'm praying that the Lord will surround the family with His comforting love and peace.
