Kerry Klein Obituary

KLEIN KERRY ANN "JERARD" Rockford Kerry Ann "Jerard" Klein, age 25, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, following a brave and courageous battle with Rett Syndrome. During her short life she was an "angel" to her family and everyone she met. Kerry's family would like to thank Deb Hoekstra, Liz Doorenbos, Connie Warners, Bridget Dochod, Toni Shoop, Chris Fredericks, Jen Millard, Jen Tolonen, Lori Heyboer, Sandra Adams, and all the other caregivers including Dr. Aaron VanZee and his nurse, Sheri who gave so much love and compassion to Kerry. She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Klein; father, David Klein; brothers and sisters, Joseph Armen Klein, Rita and Ben Johnson and their children Kepha and Anastasia, David M. Klein II, Kaylin Klein, Cari Cronkright; sister-in-law, Shandell Napieralski and her children, Genevieve VanMalsen, Kathryn VanMalsen, Robert VanMalsen and Jamie's daughter, Zoe E. Napieralski; grandfather, Armen Oumedian. She was preceded in death by her brother, William "Jamie" Napieralski on August 12, 2011. The Mass of Christian Burial for Kerry will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Rockford, with The Rev. Tony Russo presiding. Interment in Courtland Township Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, 4600 Devitt Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45246. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the Pederson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the Mass at the church on Wednesday.
