Hans, Pat and Kelly
We send our sincere sympathy in the passing of your Father and Grandfather.
He had a good long life to be thankful for.
May God bring you peace and comfort.
We would like to hear from you again sometime. You know where we live!

Sincerely, Jim and Mary K.

Dr Docter started me in bee-keeping--and gave me eye exams. What a delightful gentleman!

Dr. Docter was my doctor from the time I was 6 when we moved to Grand Rapids. He did surgery on my eyes twice and I still remember after the second surgery he actually made a house call at a time when doctors were no longer doing this. Like another patient I remember going to the Medical Arts building where they still had an attendant that ran the elevator. I never had any fears about going to see him.

Your father and Grandfather was my first eye docter that I had when I was 5 years old, I remember the office in Medical Arts and when I went into the Air Force he told me to be good. He was a pleasure to talk to and was so friendly. I hope God will bless you during this time

Dr. Docter was my first eye doctor. He was such a kind man. My sympathies to the family.
