Brecken, Patrick Patrick Todd Brecken of Sand Lake, Michigan, age 21, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born to Todd and Amy (Enter) Brecken on December 24, 1995 in Grand Rapids, MI. Patrick loved to fish and he loved his family and was always making people laugh. Patrick is survived by his father, Todd Brecken; his mother, Amy Brecken; his stepmother, Leah Engel; his siblings, Erin Brecken, Megan Colvin, Brittany Colvin, T. J. Brecken, Ethan Brecken, Jonathan Brecken, Destiny Brecken, and Serenity Brecken; and his nephew, Bently Vogel. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Lee Enter and his grandmother, Jo Ellen Enter. There will be a time of visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street NE, Rockford, MI 49341. The funeral service for Patrick will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Pilgrim Bible Church, 361 W. Pine St. NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319. The family is planning to have a benefit to raise money to help with his funeral cost on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 1pm to 5pm at the Gun Tavern, located at 18 North Main Street in Cedar Springs. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child, at any age and from any cause. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
