I am saddened to hear that Phyllis has passed away. Phyllis was one of the most honest and caring people I know. She was one of the first to welcome me to Comstock Park Schools, which I really appreciated! Her sense of humor always brought a chuckle and her smile would light up a room. Thanks for the memories Phyllis!!

When I met Phyllis, she had just prepared all of the food for her son, David's wedding. She was so proud of him! Phyllis and Les had ample trees on their Division property and we used to joke that the only outside chore Les would allow Phyllis to do, was rake the leaves. This was much more humorous in the Spring than during the fall. Many of you were gifted with some of their apples. When it was Marcia"s turn to marry, Phyllis asked me how she was ever going to find someone to sing at the wedding. I suggested she ask Bill Chowning. Phyllis refused to believe that Bill is a singer and forced him to audition in the High School band room before granting him the gig. She then made Bill promised to sing at her funeral, which I am sure he will do from somewhere south. Phyllis cared for us all. She loved us all. On angel's wings, Phyllis!
