GLUPKER, BETTY LOU Betty Lou Glupker was born in Grand Rapids to Fred and Zora Janis. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Janis; her daughter-in-law, LuAnn Glupker; and her loving husband of 60 years, George. They were both longtime members of the Elk's Lodge where they enjoyed golfing and socializing with their many friends. Betty also enjoyed her ladies golf leagues and golfing at different courses. Her love of BINGO brought her several friendships that she cherished. She will be sadly missed by her brother, John Janis; her son, Robert Glupker and daughter, Cher (Craig) Pitcher. She was a proud, wonderful grandmother to Vaughn (Melissa) Glupker, Christian (Heather) Glupker, Ryan (Jennifer) Pitcher, Stephanie (Brad) Cimock and Taylor (Matt) Harring; and she so loved talking about her six great-grandsons and the twins that are on the way. Special thanks to her caregivers at Tendercare of Wyoming and the loving support and care from everyone at Faith Hospice. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested contributions to Faith Hospice. Friends are invited to visit her family at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan Drive NW on Monday, December 2 from 6-7 PM, followed by a brief service at 7 PM. www.lifestorynet.com.

Bob and Cheryl,
On the anniversary of your mother's passing, I am reminded of the wonderful relationship with a neighbor. Your mom was always stopping by to see us when we would come back in the area to spend time with my parents I also thought of the activities (one of picking apples) between your dad and my dad. No matter how long our parents have been gone, their memory is always close to our heart and will remain with us forever. I pray that the memory of your mom Betty will help your through another difficult day.
