Shafman, Carol
Carol Faye (Whiting) Shafman, 78, of Oconto passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at Grancare Nursing Home, Green Bay, WI. Carol was born July 14, 1937 in Oconto to the late Delbert and Addie (Beauleau) Whiting. She married David R. Shafman on June 6, 1953. Carol enjoyed traveling around the country with her husband, David. She also enjoyed poetry, the Grand Ole Opry and her many dogs.
Carol will be missed by six children, James Shafman; Christine (Donald) Wyss; Arthur (Marjorie) Shafman; Wanda (Van) Brown; Bonnie Shafman; Steven Shafman; four sisters, Rev. Pat C. Whiting; Sue (Mark) Anderson; Mary (Russ) Luepke; Kay (Jerry) Mahloch; four brothers James Whiting; Robert (Bonnie) Whiting; Don (Jodi) Whiting; Dennis (special friend Kathy) Whiting; 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; a son, David; a daughter-in-law, Fawn Shafman; six brothers and sisters; grandchildren Tracy Ann & Heath; great grandchild, Darien.
