Daniel E Sazama
Daniel E Sazama age 81, of Shawano, passed away July 3, 2014 of pancreatic cancer. Born on December 24, 1932 in the Town of Seneca, he was the son the late James and Anna (Steinke) Sazama. Daniel graduated from Gresham High School in 1950. He enlisted in the Army and served in Germany. On October 26, 1968 Daniel married Susan Peterson and they made their home in Shawano Co. where they farmed. Daniel also worked at Pella Insurance for 33 years. He was involved in the V.F.W. and the Shawano American Legion.
Daniel is survived by: his wife, Susan of Shawano; his daughters, Debra (Michele) and their daughter Addison and Julie (Tom) Feriancek and their sons, Connor, Drake and Grant; Mary Ann Hubert of CA. and Diane (Dennis) Kuhn of Shawano; his brother James (Beverly) Sazama of FL.
Preceded in death by: his parents, his sister Elizabeth Priester and brother in law Anthony Hubert.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 7 2014, at 11:00am at St. John's Episcopal Church in Shawano with Rev. Mary Trainor officiating. The family will receive friends after 9:00 am on Monday until time of services. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano with Military Rites conducted by Shawano American Legion Post # 117. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Janice Kristof Lewandowski was my mother. My Mom gave me copies of the Sazama family history yeas ago and I've always appreciated having that. My sympathy to the Sazama family.
