Oh my gosh!! Just heard, I've moved out of the area and lost touch some. - I often referred to Dennis as the "rollerblading christian." I became a born again christian while out of the Green Bay area in the early 90's. When I moved back to the g.b. area and started trying out some churches, not sure where to go... It was Dennis who sunk his teeth in, in a good way. And effectively witnessed to and encouraged me. One time I was outside my home, saw someone rollerblading down the.street. Turns out it was Dennis probably about the 5th time I'd come across him. He was just dropping by...to water and fertilize some seeds he'd planted previously. He had some quirks...(who doesn't), but Dennis was often acting
On his strengths. I'm in the church, and the church is in me...Greatly because of what he's done. ... What are You doing? : , )

Dennis picked me up from the homeless shelter when I first started going to church. I later was baptized and my life changed in a positive way since that point. I enjoyed having some bible studies with Dennis and also seeing him in church. He even came and did bible studies with my mom and me. Thanks for being such a good friend. You truly will be missed.

Dennis was a true warrior when it came to his church. His methods and perseverance in outreach were second to no one else I have seen. He was genuine in his concern for other people and he got results. Dennis set an example to be remembered.

Dennis will be missed by all of us, knowing someone 40+ years and then loosing that friend overnight is somewhat of a shock, so sorry that I did not get to know his family in all that time, however, many people will spend eternity in heaven because of his desire to introduce them to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, I have a great respect for Dennis (Taken from us but not from the Lord)
