Shallow, Earl
Earl "Jeep" Shallow 82, New Berlin passed away on his birthday Wednesday April 27, 2016. He was born April 27, 1934 in the Town of Little River to the late Lawrence Shallow and Vivian (Brabant) Shallow-Bell. He served in the United States Navy from 1956-58. Jeep worked for American Motors and the United States Postal Service. In 1995 Earl married Lois Sweet in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death in 2012. He was a lifelong fan of the Milwaukee Brewers as well as the Green Bay Packers and loved running and in his later years walking. Survivors include 3 sisters Mary Ann (Melvin) Olson, Lena; Donna (Howard) Van Hulle, Oconto; Brenda (James) Svejda, Oconto; 3 brothers Larry Shallow, Green Bay; Thomas Bell (Wendy), Maribel; Daniel Bell, Milwaukee; 1 step-sister Jean Scheffen, Little Suamico; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Steven Shallow; 1 sister Yvonne Tiegs; 1 step-brother Ward Bell and 1 step-sister Margie Bader. Friends may call at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stiles from 9-10:30 am Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Saturday April 30, 2016 at the Church with Father Joel Sember officiating. Burial will be at Oconto Catholic Cemetery, Oconto with Military Rites performed by the Oconto American Legion. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto is assisting the family. Earl was such a lovely kind gentlemen who assisted me with rosary at the Regency in New Berlin. The rosary has been said for him as well as a mass was said on 4/30. (written for) Cora Lee Wojak #2011
