I have been in Wisconsin a few days. Spent 12 hours in a VA hospital with family for the final hours of my fathers life. Death. Honestly is tough. To stand by and watch helplessly had been sweet and tender in service. You hold a hand with strength dwindle to lifeless emotional emptiness. Memories and laughter to reverence and calm. A final breath of life. Tears so many, and eyes red. You walk away from a room leaving the emptiness, quiet and serine challenging day behind. My father would almost make 95 years in age. Adam Brudnicki World War two vet had saluted good bye.
