Phil, I am saddened to read of Mary's death in the summer 2013 Lawrence news. We not only when to Lawrence together but to Janesville High (now Craig) School. While we were good friends we never dated. We worked a couple years at Camp Rotamer, Mary and my HS sweetheart, Willa Allan, and Mary were close, and both my mother and Mary's lived at Cedar Crest so I got updates once in a while.
Mary was a great girl with a big, caring heart and I am sure she blessed everyone she touched. I am also very sure you two had a wonderful, happy life together.
Blessings to you and your family.
Phil,Joel and Family,
So sorry for your loss-we have have many fond memories of Mary. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to the Dorchester family. Mrs. Dorchester was such a kind person and fantastic neighbor back in the day on Zita Street. My prayers are with you all.
All I can do is smile, when I think of Mary!
Mary will always be in our hearts. We were so lucky to have Phil and Mary as our neighbors. She was always thinking about others and helping others. We will remember the good times we had with her at the "cabin" and going to antique stores. There wasn't a bad bone in her body.We certainly will miss her. We love you Mary....love, Dave and Eve
Phil, Steve, Joel and Jack and families -
Mary Jo and I are simply stunned at the quickness with which Mary's illness took her from us. Mary has been a part of my life for years, starting with extended family vacations in the 50's at Lake Vermillion -lots of visits to Janesville, Radcliffe, and Iowa Falls, her wedding to you, Phil, our wedding and our children's, her funny e-mails and more. I will miss her kindness and good humor but I will always keep her memory alive in my heart.
You and your family have my sincere sympathy - The Dorchester family was always so special to the Krause family - as we were growing up in Algoma and Sturgeon Bay
A short-time neighbor, a long- time friend,a very special kind and loving lady who will be always fondly remembered. Our hearts go out to Phil, Steve, Joel, and the rest of the family at this sad time.
Mary was a wonderful friend to my mother Audrey Nys. She always had kind words for everyone and worked so tirelessly for the church. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you.
To Phil and family:
Mary's memory will always be a bright and shining light in my heart. She left all all better people. Her love and generous spirit will live on.
So sorry for our loss.
Phil, Steve, Joel & family wow what a shock as we arrive at one of our grandson's basketball games Sunday. Mary was a great lady and there is always a special place in our heart for her sincere kindness she shared with the Zita street gang growing up. She will be greatly missed by you Phil and especially by Sam & James. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this sorrowful time.

Dear Phil and Family: You have our prayers. Mary memories for me began with the fun school days in little old Janesville, WI. Her kind deeds since will last forever. Be PROUD.
Words elude me just now. Shocked. The “praying for you” card is sitting on my kitchen table, addressed and stamped. Too fast. Too soon. Phil, you and your family are lifted up in prayer in my broken heart. Mary's fingerprints of goodness in lives of children and families are indelible. God's peace and comfort be yours.
