Such wonderful memories I have of Vi and Bert. While I was in school at Bellin I practically lived at their house. I was there for meals, bear slopping, campaigning, raccoon stew and all the other grand events that the Fredricksons so graciously allowed me to share in. I can close my eyes and hear Vi laugh and call me "sweet girl" She was the quintessential example of someone who never bothered with the small stuff. Vi was one of the most important parts of my growing up years and it always felt like she was just a few blocks away from Webster Street waiting for me. She will always be in my heart at 1208 S. Baird no matter how old I get.
You have my deepest sympathy. May good memories provide solace for your family during this challenging time and may God provide you with the assurance that you will see your loved one again in Paradise. (John 17:3)
My Sweet Vi...I have such wonderful memories of the time I worked for Vi.She was more of a Friend then client.Heaven is gaining an angel..To the Family, Thank you for sharing your Mom with me all those years..During that time I learned many things that Vi shared with me about life, family, friends and neighbors. She always was well dressed and her outfit was not complete untill she had her earings on.She will be missed but will live on in our hearts.
We were very sorry to learn that Vi passed away. She and Bert were the best neighbors and it won't be the same without her there. We will miss her.
I remember your Mom very well, with much appreciation, from my time serving as a pastor at Trinity. Toni and I will not return from Oregon in time for me to express this in person. May your good memories of her help you through the coming days.
