Joshua J. Richards
Joshua J. Richards, age 25 of Green Bay, was tragically taken from us, his family and many friends on December 9, 2013. Josh graduated from Gillett High School in 2006 and from NWTC-Sturgeon Bay in 2009. Josh was loved by so many and enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was a member of the Green Bay Blackjack Football Team and was involved in competitive body building. This kind, witty and generous soul believed that we should always work hard and help others. He was a shining example of that by giving the ultimate gift of life by donating his organs so others could continue to live on.
Josh is survived by: his mother, Jackie (Michael) Pische of Gillett; his father, James Richards of Brookfield; a sister, Vicky Richards of Oconto Falls; 2 nephews and a niece, Ayden, Fisher and Leigha Bigelow of Oconto Falls; aunt and uncle, Linda and Paul Smentek of Cecil; a cousin, Bobby of Cecil; and many friends.
A memorial gathering in Josh's honor will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Classics Restaurant and Lounge at W6026 Lake Drive, Shawano, WI. Please join his family in remembering the great times they had with Josh starting at 2:00 pm through the end of the Green Bay Packer game, the way he would have wanted it. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds are being established. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
