Edward Baldwin
Simpsonville
Lawrence Edward Baldwin, 82, widower of Ruby Fleming Baldwin, of 555 New Harrison Bridge Rd., died Monday September 10, 2012 at his home.
Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Lila Mae Culbertson Baldwin. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and retired from Riegel Textile Corporation.
Surviving are a son, Jerry Baldwin and wife Terry of Chattanooga TN, a step-daughter, Debbie Ridgeway and husband Michael of Simpsonville, three grandchildren; Michelle Pennington of Simpsonville, Jarrard Baldwin of Charlotte NC, and Leigh Anderson and husband Brian of Charlotte NC, two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Zane Pennington.
He was predeceased by a son, Danny Baldwin.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday September 12, 2012 at Parker-White Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Roy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The families are at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12-1PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 250 Commonwealth Drive, Greenville SC 29615. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com

To the family - I will miss Ed. My boys and I always enjoyed talking with him at the guard shack at Teknor Apex in Fountain Inn. May God grant him eternal rest and may the Perpetual Light shine upon him. Our prayers are with Ed and your entire family. May God bless and comfort you in your time of sorrow.
