Greer
Sandra Bowers Powell, 65, of 130 Walton Court, died April 4, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of Dorothy White of Greer and the late Buford Bowers, a retired employee of Canal Insurance, and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Also surviving are her husband, Eddie Powell of the home; a son, Jeremy Loftis of Taylors; and two grandchildren, Kayla and Cole Loftis.
She was also predeceased by a brother, James Bowers.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Tom Burns and Dr. Eddie Leopard. Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the church prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Joe Stewart, Tommy Duncan, Richard Pearl, Jeff Cornell, Mitchell Speight and Eddie Reid.
Honorary escort will be the Tommy Duncan Sunday School Class of Fairview Baptist Church.
The family is at the home.
