The best of memories, always.
Philip's son Jim is a good friend of mine and a fellow employee of TVA. we worked for the same organization for many years. I was very sorry to learn of Philip's death and wish to convey my deepest sympathy to Jim and the rest of Philip's family. sincerely, Jack Garrison.
The ceremony in Greenville today was beautiful. Phil was the best friend ever, and remains the best boss I ever worked for. Despite health problems that would put most people on their knees, his life was ruled by his caring heart; his loss leaves a huge hole in the world.
Morris, I hung wall covering for Phil while I was a student at BJU and before he left for Viet Nam. I tried many times to locate him on line but never knew where he moved. Many good memories!
I have many fond memories of Phil --we had many fun meetings in the late 70's ,early 80's when we were going to conquer the world - 1st -4plexes in K'ville, Ryan's Steakhoue Franchise, Ebenezer property and start of his paper venture
While we went our separate ways I will always think of Phil as a friend
Phil was a thoughtful, caring person. Many didn't know of his infinite generosity to people in need. He will certainly not be forgotten.
My deepest sympathies. Phil was a good man and a brother.
Our deepest sympathies. Phil was a good friend....
I remember Philip as one of the good guys. I will see you again some years down the road.
