Naomi Childers Watson

Greenville

Naomi Childers Watson, 78, of Greenville, widow of Alvin M. Watson, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012.

Born in Winterville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Walter David and Onie Estelle Wade Childers.

Mrs. Watson was retired from the manufacturing industry and a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Herman Childers of Colbert, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Graceland West Cemetery.
