Ruth Casper Meyer

Ruth Casper Meyer, 90, died, October 15, 2013.
Born in Louisville, KY December 27, 1922, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Louis P. Casper and wife of the late Richard David Meyer.
Mrs. Meyer earned her Master of Music Degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory. She was the former organist at Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Mary Magdalene and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Churches.
She was a member of the Greenville Music Teachers Association, OLR Catholic Church Women's Club, and the Greenville Symphony Guild.
Surviving are daughters, Terri Guerra of Danville, CA and Lisa McDonald of New Orleans, LA; sons, Richard, Kenneth and John; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 17 at 12:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Ken & Tiny, and other family members, I had the honor of having your mom at my home on several holidays. While I am a more casual type and Ruth was more formal I believe she enjoyed being there as much as she was welcome there. I hope the sadness you're going through now will soon change into beloved memories. I'm sorry that I couldn't attend any of the sevices but hope you got my phone message. Ken, the years of time and care that Tiny and you gave to your mother are years that you will cherish. I love you and am sending a prayer your way.
