Brenda Carolyn Roberts, 67, wife of Douglas Albert Roberts of 1971 Heritage Loop Myrtle Beach, SC, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Hudgens Q. and Hattie Hamby Chapman. She was a member of Washington Baptist Church and spent thirty years caring for children in her home.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Douglas Albert Roberts II of Myrtle Beach, SC; two daughters, Dana Roberts Ellinger (Brad) of Elon, NC and Wendy Roberts of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Emily McCall of Pelzer, SC and Norma Jean Browing of Piedmont, SC; a sister-in-law, Betty Roberts Morgan (Gerry) of Piedmont, SC; seven grandchildren, Halie, Chase, Addie Ellinger of Elon, NC, Wyatt, Emma, Bailey, and Jaxson Roache of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Private services will be held for immediate family only.
