My father, George Walden, St. Louis, MO, knew Mr. Anderson's wife, Patricia, when they were young adults. We would like to contact her, if possible. Please contact me, George's daughter, with information. Thank you so very much. Linda Walden-Collins email@example.com
To the Anderson family. Even as time has passed since the passing of Alex, he is still in our memory. As we still think and reflect on the life of Alex may the thoughts found at John 5:28 bring comfort.
To Anderson family and friends. I would like to offer my sympathy. Although we haven't met, all of us have experienced the loss of a loved one. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. Turn to Holy Scriptures for guidance so as to sooth that aching heart. Psalm 34:18 - Assures us that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirtit he saves.
Bullwinkle was my favorite cartoon character. My life would not be as full and my perspective on life as healthy if not for Bullwinkle. RIP Alex! Mahalo! B. Pendragon (Kauai, Hawaii)
Another amazing man from the past has gone. Rest in peace. God bless your family! Cecile (Texas)
Rocky and Bullwinkle were the stars of my childhood. And I learned what
humor was at an early age with the stories too. God bless you and

Condolences to Mr. Anderson's family. Remember during this time of sorrow just how much joy he brought to so many over the years, and will continue for many years to come. There is no better legacy to leave than to have touched so many and brought happiness into this world. RIP.
I watched Rocky and Bullwinkle every Saturday as a child. I still watch them sometimes via internet. I have a Bullwinkle stuffed toy. Thank you for bringing such fun and laughter and joy into our lives. May God Bless and may you rest in peace.
Hey, Alex watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat! My hat is off to you and my thoughts are with you and your family.
Hey, A lex watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat! My hat is off for you.
Without a doubt, Dudley Do Right was the best character of the bunch. As a teacher of young children for many years, I often used the puppet I made of him to help me demonstrate lessons to be learned. The students loved him. He shall live on in the comics and cartoons and bring joy and laughter to many generations to come.
So sorry for the loss of Dudley's creator, Alex.
Rocky and Bullwinkle was me and my mother's favorite cartoon. Thanks for being there with such a creative and fun sprit. God Bless.
Rocky and His Friends was my favorite cartoon. I am sad to hear Alex died of Alzheimer's. My mom did too. My heart goes out to you.
I'm very sorry for your lost
Thank You for sharing him with us for all these years. There are few who touch so mny and he does it with a smile and often a snicker; but we all understood the message of acceptance and love.
May Yahweh hold you close as he watches the screen for a new presentation!
Rev. Roger McCrary
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I remember running home from school to watch the "rocky and bullwinkle show!! You were a part of my life ...thank you
Thanks for the memories, may God be with you and your family!
You will be missed by all.
There are a select few that God picks and gives the talent to make such an impression on many. I thank God for Mr. Anderson, only now does he realize what an impact his life's creation had on so many of us. I loved all the characters and enjoyed their light hearted moralistic message to be kind and unassuming. God Bless
you have no idea how much joy you gave me and my family God Bless and keep you - and the guy jumping up and down in heaven to meet you is my husband...you'll like him, he loved your family so much we named our dog moose....
Rocky & Bullwinkle were my favorite cartoon characters when I was young and they still are. Sorry to hear of your passing Alex, you've given this world a little bit of much needed humor.
This was (and is still) my favorite cartoon series. I loved Rocky, Bullwinkle, Natasha, Boris...you name 'em! Thanks for such great memories. C. Greene
thank you for hours of fun and laughter with Rocky and Bullwinkle and friends happy childhood memories
My kids are ages 7 & 4 & they LOVE Rocky and Bullwinkle!
I found out while in my twenties that the reason I couldn't pronounce Aluminum correctly was because Rocky and Bullwinkle kept bungling up the word in a particular episode. Their cartoons had effects on our lives, some we probably don't even know. Laughter is the key to life, and The Rocky Show taught us all how to laugh on so many different levels.
ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE. WHAT A MEMORY, EVERYDAY CARTOON. THANKS GOD BLESS MR. ANDERSON AND HIS FAMILY.
Loved the cartoons..Great Memories. Rest in peace. Lynn Marmino
Mr. Anderson. Thank you so much for your time and efforts to create characters that I enjoyed as a small child growing up in Southern California. Rocky and Bullwinkle were fantastic to watch and probably gave my parents a "time out" from the rigors of keeping an eye out for their highly curious and ambitious son. Rest in Peace, sir.
Rocky & Bullwinkle is at the top of my list of my favorite cartoons when I was growing up. What a great imagination! thank you so much for enlivening my life as a child.
Watched Rocky and Bullwinkle every morning before going to school - Thanks for the laughs! Godspeed Mr. Anderson ~
My condolences to the Anderson family. He will be long remembered by those of us who enjoyed Rocky and Bullwinkle and fondly remember them from our younger days. What a terrific imagination he had!
Crusader Rabbit was my favorite cartoon when I was a little girl. Thanks for the memories! Liz Bergman
Your father was way before his time. So many happy memories and laughter he created for us. Thank you and rest in peace.
Thank you so much for "Moose and Squirrel".
My deepest sympathies to Mr. Anderson's family. His creations brought much joy to my childhood. I still love Rocky and Bullwinkle and enjoyed the memories on the Bomerang Channel. Thank you, Mr. Anderson, you live on in the hearts of we "Boomers"!
Awww - another era ended. Thanks, Mr. Anderson, for some truly wonderful memories.
The only cartoons I really "got" as a kid were Mr. Anderson's. I still feel that way.
I loved Moose and Squirrel but Boris and Natasha were always my favorites. I do community theater now and we are in rehearsal for a play with a Russian spy. I said to the young woman playing the role "More Natasha please" and everyone in the place knew exactly what I meant..
He was truly a genius.
I hope that you all received as much and more joy as a result of the humor we all shared form Mr. Anderson. In a time of so many problems as foretold by the Bible at 2Timothy 3:1-7 of selfishness and a general lack of love, it's great to have those
Alex Anderson will not be forgotten. Alex cartoons have brought laughs to many generations. Now that's what I call a highly creative person! My condolences to the Anderson family and may God' word be a source of comfort to you.
I have great memories of Rocky & Bullwinkle and Dudley Do-Right. You shared a precious gift with all children. I will certainly never forget them. Rest In Peace, Mr. Anderson.
thank you for all the laughs and great memories...
I'm 55 years old now. My two older brothers and I watched "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show" faithfully. We always had to see what Boris and Natasha were planning. And we HAD to watch the whole show including Dudley Do-Right; Mister Peabody and his pet boy, Sherman; Fractured Fairy Tales; etc. Thanks and condolences.
My Condolences to all who loved Alex Anderson.I love the characters he created.rocky and bullwinkle and dudley do right were my favorites and wish those days were back.Thank-You all who worked on these fabulous cartoons.Mr.Anderson will be missed dearly. From a big,big Fan! Eva Toledo,Ohio
At age 65 I still use "Hey Rocky, want to see be pull a rabbit out of my hat?". Thanks for all the memories, Alex. My condolences to the Anderson family.
I loved it as a child and laughed even harder as an adult. Thank you for this gift.
What a Wonderful Cartoon of Arts Remembering the Good Oldays of
The cartoons they make today don't hold a candle to the cartoons alex
anderson made. I grew up with rocky & bullwinkle, my kids know them and I hope to show them to my grandchildren. R I P
The cartoons Mr. Anderson started will forever go on. As a child growing up I enjoyed them immensely. I have a friend whose name is Dudley. And do I say "Dudley-Do-Right"? Yes, I do.
My absolute favorite cartoon ... now and forever... they don't do humor like that anymore. Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat! "not that again"... I could watch those cartoons over and over again...... he will be sadly missed... a true chapter in American TV History....
Rocky and Bullwinkle, the greatest cartoon of all time. I enjoyed it as a kid and loved it as an adult, when I got the humor. It was a staple to the Saturday morning line up for years.
RIP Mr. Anderson
I was a rocky and bullwinkle fan
A brilliant man with a wit!
oh, hate to hear that......i enjoyed rocky and bullwinkle and Boris Badinoff and Natasha every sat. morning as a kid, too.............i am 58.........
Rocky and Bullwinkle was my favorite show growing up
i have a cat that runs around the house flying off the furniture so i have nick named her Flying J. Squirrel, even my grown up kids call her that.So many fond memories when cartoons were worth watching. "Look Rocky nothing up my sleeve....that trick never works.....Gotta get me a new hat"
Rocky and Bullwinkle were our Saturday morning routine. We were old enough to get the puns and loved quoting the more memorable ones to our friends @ school. Mr. Anderson, pure genius! Thanks for the laughter. Peace to you and your family.
To the Anderson Family (& my "brother" Scott), My thoughts are prayers are with you at this time. I met Alex a long time ago and remember a lot of laughter while visiting his home. I am so glad his contributions are being recognized. His creativity brought such joy to ALL our lives. Peace to you all. De Colores!
I loved these cartoons when I was a kid. What's amazing is my boys love to watch them now as well. Just goes to show its not about the high tech tricks but the creative energy that goes into a cartoon. These are classics! Thanks for the fun!
Dudley, Little Nell, Snidley Whiplash, Boris, Natasha, Mr. Peabody, Sherman, Rocky and that scene stealer, Bullwinkle. Thanks for the memories Mr. Anderson!
I guess we will meet again in Frostbite Falls, MN. Rocky & Bullwinkle were a childhood staple for me and my sisters. His creative light will burn on. My condolances to the family of Mr. Anderson.
Wow! What a cartoon!!! One of my favorites. Thank you for the legacy...
Mr. Alex's family, Bullwinkle and Rocky the Squirrel were a part of our childhood routine TV shows to watch. May our Heavely Father, the GOd of peace and tender mercies be with you all. With deep sympathy,
Crusader Rabbit was my favorite cartoon and I rarely missed an episode. Rocky & Bullwinkle were the best! We have several episodes on VHS & my kids love them..."The Ruby Yacht of Omar Kayam." The puns were halarious! Mr. Anderson brought alot of smiles to kids & adults for many years. Very creative to combine a flying squirrel & a bumbling moose. Thanks for the fun & laughter, and for sharing your talents with so many.
Thanks for making the weekend fun!!!
Thank You Mr. Anderson for my favorite childhood cartoon! I will always remember fondly watching your magic on the screen!
Rest In Peace
Thank you for the happiness you have brought to me and to my grandchildren. They really enjoyed the cartoons that you created while on vacation. I will always treasure your work. A Fan in North Carolina
Rocky and Bullwinkle are great memories from my childhood. It has been fun to watch them again over the years to pick up what I may have missed when I watched them as a child. Thank you Mr. Anderson for sharing your gifts. I pray that God will comfort your family.
There goes another great part of growing up. We thank you for the miles of smiles you brought to us kids and parents alike.
Rest in peace for a job well done.
Thank you Mr. Anderson for all the laughs on Saturday morning. I still remember Bullwinkle at the blackboard with a pointer saying to Rocky "Now read this"
"Bullwinkle is a dope" & Bullwinkle would quickly rotate the black board "NO not that" & the show would go to a commercial. Oh how we need that ability to laugh at ourselves once again in our society.
We will all miss him. I admired well his work. Just call this more "fan mail from some flounder".
A great show and so many memories of battling my siblings over control of the knob' until RockY was done doing his thing...ahh where did the time go??
Jack LeRose Milwaukee, WI
thoes were the best of cartoons. and i remember most of them . i loved rocky. my condolences to all the family.
Thank you for making many of our childhood times memorable and laughable. I watched Rocky and Bullwinkle every Saturday. Heck, I even wanted to go to Whatsa Matta U.
Not many people can say they made as many children laugh and as happy as you did. We will miss you but not forget you!
Bryan Slater, Washington, DC
My sincere sympathy and thank you to your whole family.. The thank you is for sharing such a wonderful talent with all of us "from yesteryear" - when times were simpler, and we children could enjoy being children, in the most imaginative, most wonderful ways possible. God bless.
I know so many of us feel the same way, I needn't sign my own name - but hope you know how many lives were touched by his.
"Hay Rocky, Watch me pull a rabbit and some great memories out of this hat!!!!
Classy, smart, clean and hilarious. How much of today's entertainment can fit that description? Rocky and Bullwinkle were the best. Not just for kids, for everyone. My sincere condolences to Mr. Anderson's family and friends. His contribution to society was priceless.
what a truely creative mind!!! grew up with these shows...and will never stop laughing!!!!
My condolences, R&B was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid (and still is). I think the creativity level put into that show is unmatched to this day. I admire what today seems the "political incorrectness" of it all. It represents a time when we werent afraid of talking about our world as it is. My favorite lengend is when Alex and Jay took a microbus around the country promoting "statehood for Mooseilvania" in the fall of '62 and they pulled up to the White House gate and demanded to see JFK. The White House Police told them to get lost, they continued to demand to see the Prez (since he always presented himself to be a man with a sense of humor). The security agent pulled his sidearm and demanded they leave and they did. (It happened to be unluckily coincident with the Cuban Missle Crisis.) It takes a precious talent to allow us to joke about that. We will miss you. God Bless
i will forever carry my memories of watching rocky and bullwinkle and boris and natasha....they were the bedrock of every child's sense of humor from the 50's era and beyond....and dudley doright and snidely whiplash too....our house was filled with "nyah ah ahhhhhhh, pay the rent nell "....thank you for giving us lifetime laughter. wendy szempias, toledo, ohio
Please accept my condolences. If it wasn't for this cartoon, I wouldn't be a subscriber to Cartoon Network, Rocky and Bullwinkle is still my favorite. Thank you for the cartoon. God Bless.
So many hours of laughter! Thank You
The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show was a treat for the thinking kid, and the lessons are timeless. I remember a fractured fairy tale where the king hoarded all of the gold, so the peasants switched to turnips as their means of exchange making gold worthless. We need more creative people like Alex.
Thanks for the memories: Boris & Natasha, Fearless Leader, Commander McBragg, Sherman & Peabody; and, of course, Rocky & Bullwinkle.
My children enjoy Moose and Squirrel as much as my husband and I did back in the day! (Thanks to VCR's & DVD's). Your work was timeless and I'm sure will endure another 40 years! (Let's not forget Sherman & Peabody!)
RIP Mr. Anderson & thanks for the laughs!
I loved the work of Alex, especially Rags the tiger. What a wonderful imagination he must have had to give so many people such happiness by watching his creations. When someone we love dies, it leaves an empty spot in our hearts which could never be filled by any other person. Soon, in a new world of god's making, all pain, sickness and suffering will all be gone forever. Until then, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank You for The Memories!!!!!!
I was born in 1960, so all the cartoons of that era were fantastic, nothing like the ones of today.....So sorry for your loss...
Thanks to Mr. Anderson and Mr. Ward for all the classic cartoons, characters and jokes that will outlive all of us. His family should know that he entertained millions.
I grew up with Rocky and Bullwinkle, Dudley Do Right and Nell and Fractured Fairy Tales. My younger brother would always yell for me if they came on and I wasn't in the room. You brought me many many years of joy and I'm still guilty of quoting these characters even tho I'm now 62 years old.
Thank You for the wonderful episodes of Rocky & Bullwinkle. I really enjoyed them from my childhood years to even now.
Thanks to Alex the world was more fun. My condolences to his family and friends.
How sad..... No more Rocky,Bullwinkle,Boris and Natasha.May you Rest in Peace Mr.Anderson-for you have left us with many cartoon memories!
"And now for something completey different!" Ah, yes it was. And it was wonderful. Thank you Mr. Anderson and may you bring for all eternity the same joy and mirth that you brought to so many of us here on earth.
...hey Rocky and Bullwinkle...what a pair they were...yes, the 60's was a great time to remember the great artist Mr Anderson thank you for the child hood memories in the cartoon world.
I grew up watching Rocky the flying squirrel and Bullwinkle. I watched the new movie and like it.
I am 56 years old.
GOD BLESS FOR THE CARTOONS DURING MY CHILDHOOD YOU WILL REMEMBERED BY THOSE CHILDREN WHO WATCHED THOSE CARTOONS RIP
Akin to Aeosop Fables: Lessons Learned and pure Fun and Joy. Rocky and Bullwinkle etal. No Sorrow but jubliation at the life that gave us so much.Thank you ALEX. Now have fun for real!
ALEX MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND THANKS FOR THE GOOD WORK. NOW YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE. GOD BLESS.
Rocky, Bullwinkle, Natasha Fatale, Boris Badenough, Sherman and Peabody were all such a big part of my childhood! I loved watching their witty & clever antics, which never talked down to children - their creators must have had a blast writing it! They don't write them like that anymore! Alex & Jay set the bar high, and no one since has been able to reach it. Thanks for the Memories!
RIP dear friend thank you for the wonderful cartoons during my childhood always gave me somrthing to look forward to. I love bullwinkle.
Who doesn't love Moose and Squirrel?
Great cartoons great memories and still watching them today. They never get old like fine wine.
Even though I was born in 1991, I got to watch Rocky and Bullwinkle on Boomerang before it became cartoon network. I still remember watching some of it, but my parents have told me before that I loved that show so much! But, since I was still in the process of learning how to talk, I couldn't say "Bullwinkle." Instead, I would call it "Rocky and Bowiko" ^_^ I really like cartoons from the 60s-90s. They're not like the cartoons that you see nowadays. I really loved Rocky and Bullwinkle and still do. You will be missed so much Mr. Anderson. Thank you so much.
The family has our sympathy, my husband's nickname in high school was "Bullwinkle" because he was Mr. Know It All! Still have to call him that sometimes, and we just got a puppy a week ago, and my Bullwinkle named him Rocky.
RIP Mr. Anderson; Rocky & Bullwinkle, Dudley Do-Right and the rest were part of the happy times of my childhood. Thank you!
Oh thank you. Thank you for years of laughter. God Bless. Montgomerys
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I grew up with Rocky & Bullwinkle. It brought so much happiness in my life. Now the thought of Mr Anderson death saddens me. My condolence to the family.
My prayer is that God (Psalms 83:18) will comfort you during these difficult days. May he give you the strength to help you cope and endure.
TO THE ANDERSON FAMILY

I was a big fan of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Mr. Andersoh's talents will be truly missed. May the Anderson family's fond memories of Alex be of comfort during this difficult time.
What fond memories. May knowing others care give you all a measure of comfort. May God help you endure in this difficult time. For A heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not despise.
I'm sure Mr. Anderson has only gone to visit friends in Frostbite Falls.
What would my childhood have been without Rocky and Bullwinkle, RIP Mr. Anderson.
Crusader Rabbit, Bullwinkle and Rocky were a large part of my childhood. My condolences to the family.
My sincerest sympathy to the family. For Crusader Rabbit, Raglan T. Tiger, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Dudley Doright and all of my rich and wonderful childhood memories and laughs, I thank Mr. Anderson.

To the Anderson Family,
I'm so sorry for your great loss. It's also a great loss for all of us whose lives were so enriched by the colorful funny characters Alex Anderson created.
I remember watching Crusader Rabbitt, but never realized he was created by the same person who later created "Rocky & Bullwinkle." I remember sitting in front of the TV with my older brother and sister enjoying Rocky & Bullwinkle and just laughing hysterically. These cartoons were so cleverly written and so advanced!
Thank you Alex for your great talent and superb sense of humor. You will be missed, but not forgotten!
some of my first memories as a child are of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Thanks for the laughs.
You gave us baby boomers some great memories. Rocky, Bullwinkle, Crusader Rabbit, Dudley Do Right.. Who could ask for more. We will miss you!!! May God bless your family & know that they have a special angel watching over them. Thanks for all the laughs. Marlene Betsch-Rasmussen

Our wonderful heros Rocky and Bullwinkle have left us and the children to make a new journey with Alex into the great beyond..May the heavens enjoy the greatness they have received. I say open-up the heavens so we may listen to the laughter when they speak to the angels for the first time walking through the gates. "oops.." Thank you Alex. God bless your family.
Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. Your Family are in my Prayers. We know Lillie is in a better place and is awaiting us. God Bless and take care.
Rocky, Bullwinkle (Moose and Squirrel) helped me get through the sixties, vietnam, and college. We have lots of cartoonists but very few icons like Mr. Anderson.
Thanks for the laughs.
I loved Rocky & Bullwinkle! Especially Bullwinkle .... what a handsome moose and smart too. Not every moose graduates from the Moose Institute of Technology. God speed, Alex!
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
...nothing up my sleeve..presto!
Thanks for all the giggles.
Who doesn't love Moose and Squirrel?
no other product of television was more significant for me as a child than rocky and bullwinkle....
"oops...wrong hat!" Ha, ha, 50 years later I still laugh out loud just thinking about that skit! Thanks for being part of a wonderful childhood for millions of us!
To the Family of Alex Anderson: My heart goes out to you. I can remember as a child in the early 60 I loved watching Rocy and Bullwinkle. When My Daughter was little she had fun watching these cartoons as well. Thank You for sharing you Father with us all.
Rocky and Bullwinkle...The first animated comedy team. Loved 'em then and still love 'em. Thank-you. May you rest in peace.

Rest in Blissful Peace.
I glanced at this page and saw the picture of Bullwinkle the moose and wondered why and then the name of Mr. Anderson. Of course. He gave me so much pleasure as a kid that has stayed with me all through the years. What a treasure he was to all of us. My condolences to his family, friends and to the rest of us.
Thank you dear sir for all the good memories !! May you rest in peace.
What an artist !!!
As a child I couldn't wait to watch each week's episode of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Always on the search for the Kurward Derby. (I learned years later that was a poke at Gary Moore's announcer Durward Kirby.)
I can still laugh at those lines. Thank you Mr. Anderson !
Thank you, Mr. Anderson, for your wonderful creations of Rocky and Bullwinkle...what joy and laughter their antics have brought and will continue to bring to future generations of fans!
he will be miss my prays are with youll
It is sad that you are gone and sadder yet that most of us never knew you. Thank you for all the work you did. It was great art.
thank you and RIP ! loved your cartoons memorable of my childhood.
thank you Mr. Anderson for the lovely cartoons, it is part of my childhood, RIP.
I loved Rocky and Bullwinkle when I was growing up.Cartoons like this often had a bigger message to the young at heart, like hope and dreams. Cartoons of today just do not have the same values as they were then that's why I raised my kids on my era of cartoons.
To the Anderson family,Alex gave this world a tremendous gift of creativity and talent and one day I hope there will be somebody that can fill his shoes with the same values and desires to bring joy to our youth.
God bless you sir and thank you from all your fans.
Six in the morning on a Saturday would find me in front of the tv, with my pals Rocky and Bullwinkle. I loved them! They were in the background of a wonderful childhood, and I am so thankful to Mr. Anderson that he created them. With their creation, he brought laughter when we needed it and even at times when we thought we didn't! Laughter is priceless. And so are you Mr. Anderson.
My condolences to the Anderson family,
God Bless and thank you for so many childhood memories that will live on in. Bullwinkle is my favorite Moose !
