To Maureen and family,
I had the pleasure of meeting Brad on many occasions at the Philadelphia Flyers practice rink in Voorhees, New Jersey. The team I played on used it as our home rink.
My wife and three daughters also met each of you a few years back during a summer vacation in Disneyland. We were waiting in line to take the kids on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. We enjoyed meeting you.
Brad was not only an amazing player and coach, he was an amazing person. I am sorry for the loss of your husband and for your children losing their father.
He is missed by many. His smile and his laugh sure brightened the world.
Thank you for sharing him with all of us. We keep you in our prayers.
I only knew Coach & his family off the ice. I have never met a more genuine, gracious man. He was the kind of guy that you just wanted to be around & to be his friend was something very special. His wife is equally as gracious, down to earth, and wonderfully kind hearted. I had the pleasure of knowing them when they first moved to ATL. I built the home they moved into & from day 1 was welcomed into their home & made to feel like part of the family. They were kind enough to share tickets with ne on several occasions. I was able to share some very special times with my oldest son because of their generosity. First game Coach gave me tickets to, told me get there early & come down to the glass behind the bench. I had my son who was 6 at the time on my shoulders. We banged on the glass & Coach turned around, huge grin on his big mug, & banged back. He shouted something to one of the trainers, guy disappears down the tunnel, comes back out with a stick & puck taped to it. He gets up on the bench & hands it over to my little guy. One small example of how he made you feel important & loved. Maureen, I am so sorry, I didn't find out until tonight. You have my love & prayers. You have a very special family.
In Atlanta,we Thrashers fans loved Brad the coach. For his family,Brad the person is loved. For the world,Brad is missed by everyone.
I love that you're part of a team that used to be the jets. You'll be missed, your a person who will inspire victory with the new jets!!!

To Brad's Family;
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Brad will be missed by all in the hockey world, he was a great player!
I was totally shocked to hear this news. I am the same age as Brad was and even played hockey with him for a year or two when his dad was the coach of the Lloydminster Border Kings back in the 1960's and we were little boys. I was always proud of that fact while watching Brad make his way in the NHL. He was a fine defenceman and even better person. My deepest sypmathies to his family - this truly is a tragedy to lose such a fine man too early. PLease accept my condolences.
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers. We understand your pain of tragic loss. Please be comforted in knowing that our dad was probably waiting to greet Brad when he arrived in hockey heaven.

I can still see Brad standing with Jim behind our over stuffed van... full of ski gear… shaking his head, laughing and saying “Jim … start again”. What a good man, son, husband, father, coach and mentor. Till we meet again we will miss you Brad.
Love to you and the kids.
Jim & Holly Mitzel & girls.
Your family started as my clients but we quickly became friends. You and Brad had such a special relationship. It was clear how much he loved and respected you. My last conversation with Brad was the day before he left. Brad talked about how excited he was about the head coaching job but also how much he was going to miss his family.
You, Carlin and Liam are in my thoughts and prayers daily. I pray that the pain of losing Brad will be erased quickly with the wonderful memories of him. Brad was special and he will be hard to forget.

Maureen and kids, I can't even begin to express how sorry I am to hear about Brad. It just seems like yesterday when we were all sitting in Fini's eating pizza and our guys would talk "hockey". Maureen, I will always remember when you would be going to see Brad, (when he was traveling) you would come into the store and be so "over the top" excited and happy. It was so evident to see how much you loved him. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. God Bless.
Our deepest sympathy to you Maureen and your children, and Byron and Faye... May the memories you have of Brad as a father, husband and son keep him alive in your hearts forever. Thoughts are with you at this time.
I remember when he and Ray Bourque started their careers together with the Bruins in 1979 and they erased some of the pain of Bobby Orr retiring so young. We will always remember him. Leo, NH

Dear McCrimmon family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of great loss! I had the pleasure of working with Brad on his investment properties in Arizona and found him to be a personable and professional man. His obvious love for his family was evident as was his passion for hockey. I feel priviledged that I knew him and wish all the best for his family!
When we heard the horrible news about the tragic plane accident in Russia, our hearts broke for Brad's family. Words are entirely inadequate at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with the McCrimmon family
Condolences to the McCrimmon family. May the God of all comfort be with you.
I had the pleasure of being a part of a group that did a presentation to the New York Islanders in 1997. I spent quite a bit of time talking with Brad. I found him to be a genuine human being. Very funny too ! He was a warrior for sure. He's running drills in Heaven right now. A tragic loss. My depest sympathy to his family. God Bless you.
I met Brad when he was a great defenseman for the Flyers, and I've followed his career ever since. I always told my kids about him when I showed them my #10 jersey. This is a heartbreaking time for the loss of someone so well liked. My prayers are going to his family. Brad, rest in peace.
May God's grace give you the strength you need during this time. Earth is sadder today and heaven is brighter.
Earth's loss is heaven's gain. God Bless

His intellect was keen, his personality genuine. Condolences to his wife and kids, and to the McCrimmon clan. Brad, you blessed us with your presence.

Big fan especially when he played for Philly. Strong, dedicated player of the game. Time now to rest, job well done my servant.

"He is healing the brokenhearted ones, And is binding up their painful spots."Psalm 147:3"
I send my sincerest condolences
To the McCrimmon Family, You gave Brad the freedom to do what he wanted with his career, That made him Very happy.I met Brad twice. He was Very
approachable,kind,a True Gentleman.
I am sure God said to him, "Well done my good and faithful servant, well done." Brad, thank you for your Major Contributions to the Phila. Flyers. Such contributions will Never be matched or forgotten. R.I.P.
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
May the God of all comfort, comfort the family, friends and fans of Brad McCrimmon. Psalm 34:18 assures us that the God of all comfort is near those broken at heart and the one crushed in spirit he saves.
