I will surely miss you. I grew up with you and still watch all of the reruns I can find.

Among these are the blessings of his pursuit of so many twists and turns on the trails of stage and television adventure, whereupon he showed us that, even in hard times, we can bear down and make our way through the gateways, grinning all the way. If things get tough next year, we can take a cue from Jed's nephew Jethro and set ourselves up as special Hollywood presidential candidate media-booking agents: with so many folks running for President, there's bound to be enough work to go around! To store up all the television travelogues Buddy Ebsen has left us, why Granny, it'll take the whole back side of the barn!

I grew up w/the Beverly Hillbillies,(Buddy Epsen was my favorite) and @ 51 yrs. old I still enjoy the reruns. I've seen them all many times over, and they still make me laugh. He brought laughter into many homes. He was blessed to have lived such a long life and leave behind such a wonderful legacy. My sincerest sympathy to the family. May God Bless his soul.

To the Ebsen family. Just a few words to show how important Buddy was to my family. He was one of the more important moments that I share with my grandfather. Together, "Papa" and I would watch The Beverly Hillbillies and later on Barnaby Jones. My grandfather could solve cases before they were solved on the show. I was just a little girl when both shows aired and today my own kids, ages 14, 11, and 7 enjoy the reruns of The Hillbilles. Your family has my deepest smypathy.

I watched reruns of"The Beverly Hillbilly's" growing up, as my kids are doing the same. At the ages of 9 & 5 they enjoy those "old shows" as they call them. I tell them they may be old, but they are the best. Recently we saw the episode of Andy Griffith that Buddy was in. That is one of our favorites too.

Buddy always seemed like a kind and gentle man. I have always loved watching him on TV, however I remember him most as Davy Crockett's side kick and in a dance scene with Shirley Temple. What a man !! Hollywood needs more people like him and Gregory Peck.

I very much enjoyed his character on the B.HillBillies show that I watched as a child. Sorry to hear of his passing. One thing we have is the hope of the resurrection from the dead during the Rule of Christ. I will look forward to seeing Buddy then.

I used to watch "Barnaby Jones" as a little girl with my grandmother, it was a treat to get to sit in her chair with her and try to figure out the crimes. I also love watching reruns of "Beverly Hillbillies" with my daughter who is now 17 years old. We laugh as hard today as we did when she was little.We will continue to enjoy Mr.Jones for many years to come, our prayers our with you always.

I grew up with "Buddy". First as Jed Clampett and then as Barnaby Jones. I felt that he always portrayed those characters, with some humor, as honorable men. I was proud to have known him, even if it was only thru television and the media. He will be missed.
