I will greatly miss Coach Martin. I had the opportunity to play for him and also work with him as a Coach. The lessons he taught me as well as his perspective and insights were invaluable, and will always be a part of what I do and how I do it. I will most miss our conversations about basketball, coaching, and life. I am a better person for having known him. Thanks Coach for all you have taught me.

The Family of Pineview Free Methodist Church and fellow summer residences in the Cloyne area will greatly miss Carl's quiet presence in our congregation. Over the years Carl and Nancy have been a guaranteed presence in our church every Sunday during the summer months. We never considered you a summer guest...but Family that came back to visit us for the warmer months! We will miss Carl's gentleness....but we rejoice in the fact that he is where he has devoted his live to achieve....by the side of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Bowing before Him and hearing the words...."Well done MY good and faithful Servant!" God bless you Nancy & family during this time.

“Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.” - Saint Francis of Assisi

When I think of Carl Martin, I recall these words and realize that I have known a man who lived them on a daily basis. Carl shared the "good news" by doing what he was called to do each day of his life. Carl Martin is a legend in Bensalem. He was a devoted teacher and beloved colleague. He was a mentor and a coach, and he inspired generations of students and teachers at B.H.S.
His physical presence will be missed, but his spirit and his influence will live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew him and have benefitted from his example.
We offer his family our gratitude and our love.
Pax semper.

I worked with Carl at BHS. Carl was a dedicated math teacher even after he retired. I remember seeing him walking down the southwing hallways after he retired and he always stopped to say hello. Carl will be missed by all for his dedication to Bensalem's children. Rest in Peace Carl.
